Peter Horvath and Vincenz Leuenberger and I looked at the intersection of education, management and design to provide an international snapshot of current thinking, gaps and challenges in integrating design approaches to management education.
We talked with MBA program leads and teachers in Switzerland and at foreign institutions, to learn about the current state of design approaches in business education. Peter took a closer look at the executive MBA program of the EPFL.
The article has three parts.
- Part I. is about our approach and the integration of design into business education in general.
- Part II. takes a program-level view and a classroom-level view.
- And Part III. takes a student-level view, includes a look into teaching design, and summarizes our findings.
